Norah Bryan interviewing Dr Samuel Macey, a professor of English at the University of British Columbia who started by running a wholesale business in Jersey, about how it had all come about, retiring at 35 and educating himself, moved to Canada and moved into education, gained a degree and PhD, began teaching english literature at the University of British Columbia and became assistant dean of graduate studies, interest in time, books that are concerned with time and clocks, finding out about time and clocks on a year of sabbatical travelling around the world, interesting clocks in Jersey and the differences in Jersey since he previously lived here.
