File concerning the appeal case of John Turnnidge Le Masurier, heard before the Military Service Act (Jersey) 1917 Central Tribunal, held at the Cour Royale on the 12th March 1918. Includes completed Application as to Exemption and Notice of Appeal forms, and court report concerning case number 1739 of the Southern District Tribunal. The Exemption and Appeal were applied for by Mr R J Blampied. The Appeal was allowed and an exemption granted until June 30th 1918

Includes a newspaper cutting of an article in the 30 January 1997 edition of the Jersey Evening Post that contains information about Mr Charles Augustus Villars provided by his grandson, and Mr Henry George Villars' son, David George Villars.
