Photographs from envelope labelled "Photos from German “Green Book”, addressed to Advocate J Coutanche, Clos des Tours, St Aubin. Includes a letter dated November 1980 to ‘Dear John’ from Michael Ginns of the Channel Islands Occupation Society thanking him for the loan of the photographs. Subjects of photgraphs include: Grounds of Morville House, St Ouen; Observation Post M10, La Moye; Einsatzstellung Ouen’s Bucht, now the Watersplash, St Ouen’s Bay (in the pre-war years the property was known as “Hi-de-Ho”); Machine gun post at Plemont; Bel Royal; St Aubin’s Harbour; Soldatenheim at St Brelade’s Bay Hotel; Casualty Clearing Station ‘Heidelberg’, off Route Orange, St Brelade (since rebuilt); Grounds of Noirmont Manor; infantry gun at Strongpoint Doktorhaus, Mont Matthieu, St Ouen; Quarters for Resistance Point “La Perelle II” above Archirondel; Resistance Point La Perelle I near St Catherine; a German soldier feeding chickens.
